From Naples to Your Neighborhood
'MediaPortal' started out as a dream to introduce real Neapolitan pizza to Via Nazionale 256. The Romano family established a quaint, family-owned pizza shop in 1985, boasting a menu rich with generations-old recipes.
The beacon of our establishment, Tony Romano, mastered the pizza craft through an educational journey in Italy, where she learned from Naples' acclaimed pizza masters. Returning to the UK, her mission was to replicate the enchanting flavours of Italy with traditional baking methods and premium ingredients.
Originating as a humble 12-seater pizza spot, we've since become a staple in the local gastronomy scene while holding steadfast to our principles of quality and tradition. We still adopt age-old wood-burning oven techniques, prepare our dough fresh each day, and relentlessly seek out the finest ingredients accessible.
To this day, 'MediaPortal' is managed by the Romano lineage, with the second generation assuming control and infusing fresh zeal into our establishment. Despite modern advancements, we remain devoted to celebrating communal bonds over plates of sumptuous, true-to-roots pizza.
